Footage of the incident shows the suspect, later identified as Chanice Reyes, 24 of Morris Plains, climbing over a railing and slamming police, the NYPD said.

The incident occurred around 10 a.m. Wednesday morning as the officers were trying to make an arrest, authorities said.

Chief Terence Monahan was left bloodied and suffered a broken finger, while several other officers were treated for unknown injuries at the hospital. The officers have since been released, the NYPD said.

Reyes is believed to be a member of an anarchist group that infiltrated the Black Lives Matter movement, Monahan told Fox 5 NY.

Reyes was charged with two counts of assault on a police officer, the NYPD said.
